| ● 龐克搖滾經典樂團1995年復出大碟、登上Billboard熱門潛力榜亞軍席次！ ● 專輯由美國籍搖滾製作大將Daniel Rey (The Ramones)主鎮操盤，主唱Michale Graves與The Misfits合作的最後一張作品！ 團員造型個個獨特詭異、入選VH1「百大硬式搖滾藝人」第91名的The Misfits，在70年末龐克樂大肆崛起的年代，成為Horror Punk的先鋒部隊。1977年以主唱Glenn Danzing與貝斯手Jerry Only為中心所組織起的The Misfits，團名由來是Glenn為了向美國已故的性感女神瑪麗蓮夢露致敬，取用她生前最後一部電影「The Misfits/亂點鴛鴦譜」作為永遠的回憶。 隨著樂團正式成立後，便馬不停蹄的錄製EP以及公開巡迴演出，受到英國The Damned以及紐約The Ramones兩組傳奇樂團的影響，Glenn開始模仿那些龐克隊伍的瘋狂行徑與造型，更立定The Misfits明確的龐克樂風走向，同時歌詞創作還添入三級恐怖片以及一些神秘主義的內容，然而在1983年的萬聖節Live秀上，因為鼓手的脫序演出而搞砸現場，導致The Misfits的決裂與解散。 這齣冷戰長打了12年之久，此大碟《Famous Monsters》是在重新復出後，於Roadrunner旗下問市的第一張專輯，登上Billboard熱門潛力榜亞軍席次，由美國籍搖滾製作大將Daniel Rey (The Ramones、White Zombie、The Exit) 主鎮操盤，是年輕新主唱Michale Graves與The Misfits合作的最後一張作品。第一波攻勢＜Scream!＞夾雜在震耳欲聾的吉他轟炸，卻搭配順耳嗓音置入，MV拍攝活像生人勿近的殭屍片現場；獲得CMJ音樂雜誌高度讚譽：「…踩著The Misfits熟悉曲調…這組經典樂團表現出為何他們在龐克搖滾領域中是如此受到各界尊敬。」 資料來源：華納唱片 |
