| Trey Songz，憑藉著不懈的努力與耐心、以三張錄音室專輯，打造出無人可取代的 節奏藍調小天王地位！來自維吉尼亞州的Trey Songz，完全沒接受過任何歌唱訓練， 過著跟一般年輕人沒有兩樣的生活的他，當時只獨鍾於嘻哈繞舌樂，直到他聽了 R. Kelly的音樂後深受感動，擁有一副好歌喉的Trey Songz經由親友鼓勵，轉而朝向 節奏藍調的領域發展，在贏得家鄉選秀表演比賽後，終於有機會認識Boyz II Men、 Whitney Houston、B2K等專輯製作大師Troy Taylor，恩師承諾在Trey Songz完成 學業之後，為他規劃歌唱事業。於是，在他完成學業之後，Trey Songz被簽入Atlantic 廠牌，率先受「快嘴饒舌王」Twista欽點，在他個人空降全美流行專輯榜亞軍大碟 “The Day After”中的「Girl Tonite」一曲獻聲，讓Trey Songz的知名度也隨之上升， 而Twista也在Trey Songz首張專輯“I Gotta Make It”中的首支單曲「Gotta Make It」 饒舌助陣，讓他順利拿下告示牌節奏藍調/嘻哈單曲榜#21，Atlantic已故的創辦人 Ahmet Ertegun更為Trey Songz冠上『Atlantic唱片自Otis Redding以來最有希望的節 奏藍調藝人』之美譽。2007年，專輯“Trey Day”更是贏得了全面性的成功，空降告 示牌專輯榜#11、節奏藍調/嘻哈專輯榜亞軍，也以單曲「Can’t Help But Wait」獲第 51屆葛萊美音樂獎年度“最佳節奏藍調男歌手獎”提名。 於9月14日發行第4張個人專輯Passion, Pain & Pleasure與饒舌女歌手Nicki Minaj合作 的首波主打單曲Bottoms Up在告示牌節奏藍調榜取得了第15名的佳績，在單曲榜上目前 最高曾到達第22名，第2波主打單曲Can't Be Friends據說取樣自日本新音樂教父阪本龍一 被2006年電影「火線交錯」選為配樂的1996年歌曲Bibo No Aozora，目前已經躍升到節 奏藍調榜第40名。 |
