| 新作開場曲＜Music:Response＞中的Electro風格的Vocoder使用，已隱約感受到Tom 'n' Ed異於以往的創作企圖，減除了巨型電子碎拍，化學兄弟在《Surrender》中採用更多Four-To-The -Floor的厚實科技節拍與細膩編飾的電子聲響。 由Bernard Summer(New Order)與Bobby Gillespie (Primal Sceam)共同參與的＜Out Of Control＞在Euro Disco流暢Bass Line的催動下，新浪潮男聲與科技節奏作了一場最完美的結合演出。和＜Out Of Control＞同樣以繁多音層與鮮明段落鋪陳而成、呈現晰澈可見之虛幻美景的＜The Sunshine Underground＞，則讓人不禁讚嘆化學兄弟操控編排電子樂音的豐厚內力。迷幻吉他民謠Mazzy Star夢囈女主唱Hope Sandoveal首次獻唱的＜Asleep From Day＞則是一首動情的低調小品。而Noel Gallagher(Oasis)與Jonathan Donahue(Mercury Rev)分別跨刀製作的＜Let Forever Be＞與＜Dream On＞更增添了＜Surrender＞專輯多樣、沉穩、內斂的創作態勢。 資料來源：EMI唱片 |
